We got up early-ish and caught the plane to Lukla. It is a tiny plane, but we had amazing views out over the mountains.
We have walked about 5 hours today. The route is exceptionally beautiful. Views up to high snowy mountains, through pine forests, and then other flowering plants. Also there are plunging views down to the Dudh Khosi, river of milk. The water is greeny-blue, with white rapids in many places. We have crossed this river several times, on high suspension bridges. There are lots of Dyobke (cow-yak crossbreeds) trains up and down the path. They can be hazardous, as Daniel and Hein found out. There are many shrines and chortens, piles of stones with prayers on. You have to walk past having it to your right. There are also many prayer wheels for one to turn on the way past.
A water mill - genuine stone ground!
First big suspension bridge
Don't look down on suspension bridges - oops I did!
