Day 3 contd

We had a fascinating tour of old Kathmandu. The 17th century wooden buildings are quite spectacular. We did get to see thw living goddess - a tiny little 9 year ld who appeared briefly at a window. We all did namaste and then she was gone.
There is load shedding here. Maybe we get to watch the cricket, maybe not. Anyway, I can only upload eal photos later. Meantime, via cell phone, a snap from Durbar square, and our lunch venue, the "higest roof terrace restaurant".
