Trek Day 2: Monjo to Namche

Cool - check the snowy mountains in the shades which were bought in Mumbai

Frozen waterfall - we heard a great rumbling of an ice fall across the valley

The view from the lodge this morning

Today we woke up to snow on the mountainsjust above us. After a good breakfast (muesli with Yak milk), we set of for Namche. Quite a slog, but spectacular views and pleasant cool weather. We had to cross the highest suspension bridge ever, at the point where we are now leaving Dudh Kosi to start on the valley up to Gokyo. Everyone is doing well, finsing their own pace and rhythm.
On arrival at Namche is started snowing, so it was a very welcome Lodge we pulled into, and had lovely warm tea and then lunch with soup.
We are together for today with the other group. They are off tomorrow, and we have a chilled day tomorrow (literally, maybe!).
